Fashion constantly changes. It doesn't matter if we are talking about women's fashion or men's trends, the fashion world is constantly evolving. There are a number of ladies who have influenced the fashion industry during the last half century. Today, women are wearing some extraordinary designs and styles due to these famous figures. They include:
• Coco Chanel
Gabrielle “Coco” Bonheur Chanel, brought a revolution in the fashion industry. Born in France in 1883, the daughter of poor parents, Coco failed to receive much proper educated. Nevertheless, she became one of the biggest fashion icons of the twentieth century. Chanel suit and Chanel No. 5 perfume are two of the biggest creations from Gabrielle Bonheur. She died in 1971 and is buried in Switzerland.

• Mary Quant
Hot pants and miniskirts are both creations by Mary Quant, the English fashion designer. She started her business in Chelsea, London. She opened a shop in the area during 1955. The shorter skirts are one of the trademarks of her collection. She regarded them as a token of women's liberation. Miniskirts were one of the major clothing items of 1960s, whilst hot pants were introduced to the fashion market during the late 1960s. Later, she moved into textile design and cosmetics.
• Vivienne Westwood
Vivienne Westwood is considered as the pioneer of modern punk fashion. She is an English designer who is constantly associated with the Sex Pistols. She is also closely linked with the London Boutique. The Wedgwood Pottery Company introduced a range of hers in 2003.
• Bonnie Cashin
She was born in California, USA and is known for introducing ready-to-wear clothes. She has also provided sportswear clothing to the market. Bonnie Cashin is known for simple and clean designs with enough room for movement. The poncho is the one of her finest creations.
